Book of Azerbaijani fairy tales in Romanian language presented in Chisinau
On June 1, on International Children's Day, a presentation ceremony of a book of Azerbaijani fairy tales in Romanian language was held in Chisinau.
The event was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Moldova jointly with “Dorința” publishing house was attended by social and political figures, diplomats and their children.
Ambassador Ulvi Bakhshaliyev noted in his speech that fairy tales are an important part of the cultural heritage of every people, passing on wisdom, traditions, and spiritual values from generation to generation.
"Azerbaijani folklore occupies a special place in the rich culture of our country, and today's book offers readers the opportunity to get to know this unique heritage better. I would like to thank everyone involved in the preparation and publication of this book, especially the management of the “Dorința” publishing house, as well as the Director of the Folk Tales Project, Mariu Marin, for supporting cultural dialogue and strengthening friendly relations between our peoples," the Ambassador added.
Taking the floor, the Director of the “Dorința” publishing house, Dorin Tautu and the Director of the Folk Tales Project, Mariu Marin, emphasized that such projects contribute to the development of cultural dialogue between countries.
